Liverpool day out

A day out with the disabled drivers federation in Liverpool, a really hot day but I did not have to do much driving as we went on a coach which was really nice in fact I was even sitting in my wheelchair on the bus which was very comfortable.  We went to Liverpool with the intention of going to the Tate Northern which we did and saw a lot of modern art I found it very different and it had a lot of installation art as well as paintings.  The museum of Liverpool was also interesting and we went to the the ferry terminal for the Mersey crossing though it was expensive to travel on it.  We went round the shops and saw the liver birds and took some photos.  I brought some albums from a shop that had Elvis Presley's fingerprints in!  It was a really nice day out and we all enjoyed meeting the rest of the members of the DDF.  A big thank you goes to Mary who is the secretary of the club for organising it
